Lake of the Woods Barracudas

The Lake of the Woods Barracudas is a summer swim team located in Locust Grove, VA.  We are part of the Rappahannock Swim League and practice at Sweetbriar Pool in Lake of the Woods.  Our aim is to help our swimmers improve their skills, learn good sportsmanship, and have fun while competing against other local teams.  Our season runs from May 27th to July 26th.

Registration is now open for new and returning swimmers and will close on April 30th.  If you have a child that is looking for a fun way to spend their summer and make new friends, come join us.  Swimmers must be between the ages of 5 and 18, as of June 1, 2025, and be able to swim at least the width of the pool unassisted. Our coaches will hold evaluations the first week of practice.  We have lots of fun things planned for the season and hope to see you at the pool.
